the officials present at the Club, or check out our GLTA Perth Lawn

We are all here to assist you and we look forward to an incredible Championships and the memories we will create together.

Message from the Directors

Welcome, Doug and Thomas here, ready to kick off our 9th GLTA Tournament in Perth with a bang!
We couldn't be prouder to say that this is officially our BIGGEST tournament yet, with 145 players from 27 different countries.

To all of our international and interstate players, thank you for making the trek to our beautiful city. We know you're busy and we appreciate you joining us for what's going to be an AMAZING competition. To our local players, you guys are the heart and soul of Loton Park, we couldn't do this without you. Thanks for always being there to support us!
If this is your first time at a GLTA tournament, get ready for the time of your life! We've got some serious laughs, good vibes, and friendly competition coming your way. And for our returning competitors, thank you for making this tournament what it is. You guys are the
backbone of this event, and we couldn't be more grateful for your support.

We've got some awesome events planned for both on and off the court, so get ready for some fun!

And to all the first-time real grass lawn players "Don't forget to bend your knees!"

If you have any questions, please reach out to one of our dedicated Tournament Committee members.
We're lucky to have the fabulous Loton Park Tennis Club as our home venue and this year we are starting a new partnership with City Beach Tennis Club. Our first day of play will be at this beautiful beach side tennis club, located a short distance from the city centre. Check out the venue details in the Tennis Itinerary.
We're ready for some friendly competition, laughs, and good times.

See you all on the court,

Doug & Thomas

Loton Park: A Proud Legacy in Sport and Community

Loton Park stands as a unique and historic institution in Western Australia, proudly known as the only LGBTQIA+ tennis club to manage and operate its own physical location in Australia. Loton Park is the second oldest tennis club in Western Australia. Its first Club Champions being crowned in 1922 and its heritage-listed clubhouse serve as a testament to its rich history.

A significant milestone in its journey came in 1995, when the LGBTQIA+ committee first took control of the club, marking the beginning of a new era of inclusivity and community-driven values. As we approach 2026, the club will celebrate the 30th Anniversary of this transformative chapter, continuing its legacy as a space where sport, heritage, and pride intersect seamlessly. The Perth Lawn Tennis Championships, first appeared on the GLTA World Tour in 2017, quickly becoming a favourite for all Players seeking an LGBTQIA+ friendly sporting holiday experience.
